Having learned a wide range of programming languages and worked on a number of high profile development projects, I was given the opportunity to get out and meet with clients and prospects. This gave me the ability to better understand the business needs and requirements that were driving the development work and gave me an insight into the challenges of sales and marketing.

I began by working on the design of bespoke elements of CRM Solutions using C++. We were also one of the first companies to develop applications for mobile devices and our data entry products for surveyors in the construction industry proved very successful. I went on to learn Web Development languages such as ASP, PHP, JavaScript and XHTML.

I was lucky enough to spend my work placement at this exciting and innovative bespoke software development organisation. I experienced all aspects of the business from design and development to sales and marketing.
