A New York City-based hot dog popup that is a Desi-American mashup of Pervaiz's Chicago upbringing and Pakistani heritage. The result is a Chicago-style hot dog topped with chaat, a South Asian street snack. Chaat Dog is part of a larger project that Pervaiz has dubbed "Stinky Lunch Kids Strike Back: The Story of American Food." The goal is to chronicle stories and look at recipes through the lens of the immigrant experience: Immigrants, which is nearly every single one of us, our food was "weird" & then it became part of “American Food.”

Also wrote about cooking a whole alligator in my Brooklyn backyard.
