I enjoyed working with young learners, teaching English through theatre as well as helping older students obtain the level of English required to pass Cambridge exams along with the necessary exam skills. As a coordinator for the school, my role requires me to run training workshops for new and existing teachers in teaching English through theatre. I created content for the school’s website and social media channels. Furthermore, I also created scripts for theatres, including core vocabulary and grammar structures for the term. I scheduled dress rehearsals and shows for the parents as well as made and organised props and costumes. I managed the technology in the theatres, creating the background videos and audio. Having taught in the foreign language English classroom, solely using English, I have experience in giving clear, concise instructions along with plenty of patience.
