Facilitates the Family Foundation Program to parents expecting a baby. The program focuses on how to strengthen ones relationship with their partner and build a strong parenting team. It teaches skills on emotional regulation, conflict resolution, stress management, healthy communication and problem-solving. Works with Murdoch Children's Research Institute on evaluation of the program.

Provides international students with well-being support involving issues such as home-sickness, anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship/sexuality concerns, financial stress and other mental health and well-being concerns. Peta coordinates for the UniMentor Program for Melbourne and Sydney students, that pairs a new student with an experienced student for peer-mentoring. Additionally, Peta is an administrator and content creator for the several social media platforms that posts content for student engagement.

Victoria University (VU), Australia and IBM (Melbourne, Australia) have a pronounced mentoring program that gives VU students an opportunity to be mentored by an IBM professional. The program helps students with transition from university to the workplace as well as providing the student with invaluable social connections and expert guidance and support. The program is a two-way street, providing IBM staff with innovative ideas, insightful perspectives and diverse opinions that enables IBM to grow. In regards to the mentoring program, my position was to provide research into the mentoring program to explore: A) the benefits that both mentors from IBM and mentee's from VU were experiencing as a result of participating in the mentoring program B) what type of improvements could be made to strengthen the program which in turn, C) would provide long-term sustainability of funding for the program. As a Peer Career Advisor (PCA) at Victoria University, my responsibilities varied from helping fellow students face-to-face with their job documents, to participating in careers festival activities to promote the services for students that were provided by the Career and Employment Department. I also participated in conducting mock interviews with students, where I would take on the role as an employer and role play a job interview with the students; this was also conducted for the accounting TAFE students at the university as a part of their curriculum. I also ran career workshops for students with my fellow colleagues, created brochures on career topics of interest (i.e. I created a brochure for psychology some-to-be graduates titled "What you can do with a psychology degree"), and lastly, I used multiple social networking mediums to promote our services to students as well as providing an email service for students to send their job documents to, which from there, would make edits their documents online or refer students to see a careers counsellor.
