CurrentAs a seasoned DevOps consultant, I played a pivotal role in the development of a highly utilized infrastructure management platform across 600+ workspaces. I showcased my profound expertise in Terraform to conceptualize modules for AWS, Azure, and custom providers.Among my significant contributions was the development of a module code automation tool. Serving dual purposes, this tool harnessed git diff to detect Terraform resource block changes and performed bulk updates on specific resource arguments like lifecycle ignore changes block, thereby making operations more efficient.I applied my competence in Terraform to devise providers, refining resource naming and developing internal APIs. These included key components like TFC workspaces and Azure RSGs. I also incorporated an error provider delivering custom health checks to boost overall system robustness.To further this development, I maintained the Infrastructure management platform APIs and built an MVP portal in React for those APIs to enhance the developer experience. As a part of these efforts, I also expanded our internal Terraform Cloud API, adding pivotal endpoints used by the Sentinel policy and our pipeline.Enforcing HashiCorp Sentinel policies for TFC was another responsibility I undertook, thereby ensuring our team's exclusive use of modules managed by our organization. I utilized my scripting skills to produce numerous scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python. These scripts automated processes like bulk updating RSG tags managed by TFC and activating Terraform module pipelines. My contributions also extended to remodeling CI/CD templates and GitHub actions, streamlining workflow while enhancing efficiency.Parallelly, I managed multiple environments and leveraged Kubernetes for internal APIs, safeguarding that the system operated smoothly and efficiently.
