From peer educator in middle school to president of Local BEST group of the biggest European association of technology students, my road has been filled with great challenges and many wonderful people and friendships. I have been blessed to meet a lot of knowledgeable mentors and work with amazing characters who shaped me as a person and who tested my beliefs, boundaries and resolve. Working with younger generations in the Open Club of Nis introduced me to the concepts of interculturality and diversity at a young age. Pushing myself to overcome fears of stage freight saw me acting throughout whole of my high school. Studying psychology opened a lot of doors for me and helped me hone my skills and tools. But no place has proven to be more tolerant, more inclusive and more prosperous then my beloved BEST (Board of European Students of Technology). Even though I am not a student of technology, they took me in, showed me how to hold interviews, prepare workshops and meetings, write numerous documents and organize events. Intended to show appreciation I decided to run for president and give back to the community of BEST Nis that has given me so much.Right now I embark on a new journey, the most meaningful of all. I work as a counselor under supervision in one of the most reliable clinics in the region, Anima Plus.I strive to become a full time psychotherapist, to help people soothe their minds, manage their problems and recognize their own potential.
