Managing the European Sales and Business Development group and being responsible for the global sales development within our Industrial, Smart Energy and HealthTech segments.Without becoming to detailed on my current role, my credo: leading by example and enable sustainability through technology and collaboration.

Taking over the lead generation in the industrial application space (focus: renewable energy with its adjacent markets) as well as consideration of selected technology trends in order to enable customers to extend their market share or to enter into new markets.Growing early and small engagements into strategic and multi-service collaboration models with the scope of optimized quality, supply chain, regionalization and innovation.

Being the link between operations, engineering and sales within a global Tier1 service provider (design, manufacturing, supply chain, after market services) with the goal to find and establish the best group of teams and the best working model for the specific programs in discussions. The portfolio of solutions was spanning different applications within multiple market segments (e.g. industrial automation, drives, hardware within healthcare applications, solar, power generation) as well as different type of customers (from early start-ups to well established global players).

Establishing and operating an R&D group for product and assembly development (core group in Austria, extended group across Europe and US) and for predominantly global medical conglomerates around ultrasound, X-ray and in vitro diagnostic applications.The responsibility included multinational internal development groups as well as 3rd parties with the objective to utilize the best innovative heads for achieving unique and tailored solutions.Specific R&D work for other industries outside of healthcare was incorporated when technologies and innovation were generic and could be leveraged for other applications than in the healthcare space.

Taking over responsibility for key accounts in France, Austria, Germany and US with the objective to develop those accounts from an early engagement to strategic customers which required commercial and technical leadership.

Managing a group of hardware and firmware engineers within the greater R&D department, with the responsibility of developing new devices for the company's people access segments. The responsibility included 3rd party consultants, external development and manufacturing firms as well as the involvement of prime customers into the development process.

System integration work with the objective to develop derivative products in order to enter new market segments and to offer tailored product solutions for new applications in the space of people and car access markets. Working in a cross-functional team including 3rd parties (industrial design, HW specialists, manufacturing partner) to reduce time-to-market, increase competitiveness and to become a first solution provider for new applications, driven by innovation.

Responsibility over hardware and firmware quality within the product development group. Managing a small group of quality engineers within a matrix organization with the ambitions to continuously improve the quality output from the development process through standardization and test automation.
