Experienced Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint, Lesson Planning, Educational Technology, & Curriculum Development. Strong education professional with a Master’s Degree focused in Educational Leadership & Administration, from Concordia University-Portland.I am a dedicated & experienced social studies teacher with a passion for educating high school students. I have taught a variety of courses, including AP Government, American Government, AP World History, Modern American History, Contemporary American History, & Honors World History. I am highly knowledgeable in my subject area & have a talent for making complex concepts accessible & engaging for my students.In addition to my teaching duties, I am also deeply involved in the extracurricular life of our school. I currently serve as the faculty advisor for the International Students Club, where I provide guidance & support to students from diverse backgrounds. I am also a member of the Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) committee, where we work to promote a positive school culture & foster student success throughout the building. Outside of the classroom, I have also been involved in coaching high-school football & middle-school baseball.
