Overall responsibility for managing all the Production Engineers across the businesses (New Units, Spares and Repairs) and work synergy with other departments; design, quality and supply chain on Norsok , ASME and IBR standard contracts. Holding weekly meetings with Production Engineers plus weekly, then daily meetings with Area Managers; reporting directly to the Operations Director and latterly the Technical Director. For the last 18 months led a team of multi-disciplined Engineers from apprentices to long serving employees of 40 years service, as a task force to remove process waste in all aspects of the business. • Increased Spares Sales to 6 million per annum from 4.5million per annum. o Developed a reporting system between Production Engineering and Sales cutting out waste in existing process; resulting in productive throughput.• Consistently achieved milestones chosen by departmental customer.• ECR/control and reduction, including all document change as required, ongoing review, closure and archiving.• CAPA system custodian ensuring quality and process maintained.• Budget holder for multiple machine purchases totalling £1.17M.• Developed program for shop floor to report any relevant issues, integrated with Epicor MRP system providing 360⁰ reporting.o Achieving successful conclusion of 100% within 7 days and 85% within 24hrs.• Integration of Spares, Repairs and New Units.o Heritage product knowledge spread across all 3 areas, creating a cross functional team; including allocation and training of apprentices and graduates.
