Maintenance ManagementMaintain control over the FPSO’s PMS and associated computer database.Coordinate periodic maintenance activities with the OIM and other department heads.Plan the service and maintenance of equipment according to PMS guidelines.Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete.Carry out classification society surveys as part of the continuous survey of machinery.Ensure that the permit to work and isolation systems are strictly adhered to for the maintenance department, and any maintenance areas affected by other personnel.Inform the OIM and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the FPSO.Maintain an adequate supply of spares in order to fulfill maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation.Supply information for maintenance and repair budgets as necessary.Maintain proper communication with shore based Support Group FPSO management, and equipment vendors.Liaise with the OIM to ensure that all third party equipment is fit for purpose, certified, correctly installed, and maintained whilst onboard the FPSO.Implement the follow up requirements to audits, as issued by Clients, Regulatory Authorities or FPSO management.Approved all requisition purchase orders prior to Requisition being sent to shore base.Supply FPSO management with maintenance statistics of the vessel.Advise on ways of making improvements to the inventory kept on the FPSO.Document any and all changes to the PMS system to reduce error in the system.Personnel / Training:Mentor, develop and train crewmembers to ensure they are competent to work at their next job level.Ensure that all subordinates have the necessary skills and experience to fulfill their assigned task in a safe and efficient manner. Supervise and guide crewmembers in their On the Job Training (OJT) program.

To oversee the instrumentation maintenance department on the Nowrooz platform for SIOL during the final commissioning stages of the project upto the introduction of hydrocarbons and the final handover to the Iranian customer IOOC. Also including the organizing and deployment of the Shell instrumentation personnel along with the instrument contract personnel onboard. To ensure that maximum efficiency and deployment of people was obtained. Ordering and recommending spares to the head of maintenance and the support staff of Shell onshore. Producing work orders and making sure that they were carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Completing all relevant documentation for the maintenance of all systems onboard. To demonstrate and hand over completed systems to the IOOC operations personnel and ensure that all the correct documentation was witnessed and signed by the relevant people and copies were placed with document control.
