As the VP of Global Operations Peter lead the operations team in the delivery of the BuildingIQ technology at sites across Australia and the United States. As the sole industry veteran in the founding team, Peter provided the key product input to the founding team. Customer feedback was gathered during extensive sales support and hands on implementation to support the formulation of the product roadmap and its execution priorities. This viewpoint in between the customer and the technical team was also invaluable to the board and investors.

Following a successful trade sale, Peter continued to manage LiveDATA as a business unit manager at Schneider Electric (formerly TAC). The LiveDATA service provided 365 day a year energy analysis to thousands of metering points across Asia Pacific. Developed well ahead of its time, the LiveDATA energy management service supported existing Schneider maintenance contracts as well as providing a lead in product to sites maintained by competing BMS providers.With P&L responsibility, the role within Schneider Electric also included support for energy management solutions and personell across Australia and New Zealand.

Peter started working at a small, home based business in the suburbs of Australia's Capital whilst still a student at ANU. Building Controls Management provided energy consulting services as well as a managed service delivered on a proprietary platform. Seeing the emerging benefits of the web and the recurring revenue, the small team developed a world class, real time energy management platform known as LiveDATA. By focusing company funds on developing the platform, it allowed the company to pivot away from low growth consulting work and the need for third party software. This pivoted resulted in a platform that could easily handle the 10x growth achieved over subsequent years.He liked it so much he bought the company and after several years of strong growth, sold the company to multi-national electrical component giant Schneider Electric.
