After 9 years in the role, revenue was up more than 110% on my initial target for 2013-14, with all monies re-invested in the Club, as run on a not for profit basis. I chaired a management committee with responsibility for all aspects of running a golf club. Licensing, health and Safety, reorganisation and employment law, staff management , contracts and greenkeeping. During my time in charge I learnt a lot, but also recognized that my skills were transferable. The club prospered with revenue increasing each year.
