I was a senior engineer/commercial supervisor at pps, were I gained knowledge in the domestic industry.I also covered Thames water and commercial works, whereI worked as an engineer including office based helping with the technical side which included support/ quoting and site surveying jobs, I also contributed to help build new Hla alarms and systems and built a training room, works here included: ground water (delta)/ sewage pumps, plastic/ galvanised and ductile pipe work, telemetry systems, battery back ups, high level alarms, ultrasonics, Thames water, Wolsey.

Here at London pumps I learnt the art of booster sets, pu's, heating and chilled water pumps and ahu units, I learnt everything from stripping down pumps and rebuilding which included sandblasting, new seals and bearings and testing to fault finding on booster sets and pu's checking pressure switches /transducers, this also included on site works on the above, working day in day out gave me great experience on these pump sets, I also fitted new /replacement units which included pipework and setting systems to correct operation.

Here I started my pump career, I worked in the workshop learning sewage and storm/ ground water stations, works would include building pump stations including the pipework and valves inside to a specification required, from here I become a engineers mate to leading my own team, covering services, call outs and installing new or upgrading pump stations nation wide, we also built/ supplied and installed our own pump stations from 1m to 3m deep, klargesters were also serviced, fixed and installed.
