My first step into a fully fledged L&D role, I managed the L&D strategy across a multi-site network of restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels and convenience stores. Being able to deliver bespoke earning plans in line with the needs of different sites and team was incredibly rewarding. Key achievements during these 4 years included:• Analysed the impact of new business openings, acquisitions and turnaround of multiple sites • Project managed workforce implications resulting in units achieving GRI scores of 85% and above.• Launched coaching and led initiatives which delivered +60% turnover within three months and £2K top-line increase in sales within two weeks.• Project managed a new companywide eLearning platform • Designed training programmes across multiple disciplines including sales, leadership, shift management, finance and customer service.

I did so by defining the business plan and budgets, and then gaining licensing board approvals and determining brand standards for fine fresh food and high-end drinks. Separately, I formulated marketing strategies and created profitable promotions, as well as leading staff recruitment and training activity, and overseeing operational bar and restaurant management.* The Results *• Realised an increase in unit sales of 290% within two years
