My major tasks include interfacing with our component vendors on technical aspects of the product line as well as advising on the commercial aspect internally. The technical aspects involve planning and executing DOE's internally at 3M as well as joint operations between our vendors to better understand our products and processes to lean up the operations. I've also been called upon to relay the results of the experimentation with our customers.

My position in Wtn SD was at the local plant staff level. I added supervisory aspects to the plant engineering group and lab and metrology. While more focused on the local plant issues the position still entailed customer and corporate engineering contact. My position at Wtn evolved from the BPCS ,ERP cut over transition for the work in the Item master records, an BOM for the mixing area as well as invenforty,lot tracing control . I've listed my total time at MRC in this entry. Actual time at this position started in 1995. My position in the R&D lab involved the supervisory role for the technicians

My Position at MRC was in the R&D lab where there was frequent customer interactions either direct contact with engineers in problem solving or product development or indirect contacts via the sales force and the quotations and product development of solving factory issues on their behalf. Part of the material development was to also interface with our vendors via their commercial side contacts as well as their technical networks
