My introduction to the landscape/hardscape industry was through a summer job in 1990 working on a landscape crew in Akron, OH. In 1995 I began my career as a landscape designer with Bladecutter's Lawn & Landscaping in Dayton OH. I fell in love with hardscapes in the late 90s. In 2004 I began working for my hardscape products dealer (Lavy Enterprises). During those years, I moonlighted as a self-employed designer, drawing and selling projects for contractors. After giving up design & fine art in 2017, I accepted a manufacturer's representative position with Oberfields, where all of my experience has been a resource to both contractors and dealers.
