Pete is an executive level quality management consultant with more than 45 years of experience acquired within commercial nuclear power construction (EPC), startup and operations; nuclear defense reactors; high level radioactive waste (vitrification) /spent nuclear fuel; and, environmental restoration oversight of Superfund, state and federal government facilities under multimillion dollar projects. His skill sets include quality program development and leadership; strategic planning; personnel management; business development; marketing; and, sales. His consulting services have been called upon to assist in resolving major organizational realignments; mergers, acquisitions and large-scale changes requiring no less than successful action completion. His extensive knowledge and experience in quality programs include those incorporating the requirements of 10CFR-830.120; DOE/RW-0333P; 10CFR-50, Appendix B Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Processing Plants; ANSI-N45.2 and daughter standards; ANSI/ASME NQA-1-2008 & NQA-1a-2009 Addendum; DOE-O-414.1 orders and guidance documents; US. EPA QA Requirements and Guidelines; and, ISO-9001 Quality Management. In addition to an extensive and rewarding career in nuclear power, Pete has provided quality management over the investigation and restoration of numerous U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) super-fund projects; national priority list projects; and, emergency response action projects, including the post 911domestic terrorist anthrax attack on our nation’s postal system. He is the recipient of corporate awards for exceptional leadership, fostering teamwork and partnership, supporting a safety culture awareness, and making outstanding contributions in both government and commercial sectors. Professionally he has served as a committee member of the U. S. Sub TAG to ISO/TC207 for the development of ISO-14000 series Environmental Management Standards, and member of the ANSI ASQ Z1 Environmental Management Subcommittee to ISO. Additionally, he has served as a subcommittee chairman of the ASQ Design & Construction Division and member of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Nuclear Uniform Curriculum Pilot Committee for developing Nuclear Quality Assurance and Quality Control college degree programs.
