The Division of Spill Prevention and Response (SPAR) prevents spills of oil and hazardous substances, prepares for when a spill occurs and responds rapidly to protect human health and the environment.The Prevention & Technical Support Section protects public health, safety and the environment by preventing the release of oil and hazardous substances and ensuring responses minimize environmental impacts.The Preparedness Section protects public health, safety and the environment by ensuring that producers, transporters and distributors of crude oil and refined oil products prevent oil spills and are fully prepared materially and financially to clean up spills. The American Red Cross and its partners have launched an initiative that aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by home fires by 25% in five years with the Home Fire Campaign. As part of the leadership team, I manage the planning, implementation and evaluation of Home Fire Preparedness Campaign events.• Coordinate all activities in advance and on the day of the event. • Work with fire departments and all other coalition partners to carry out planning, implementation and evaluation. • Follow all guidelines, training, safety and documentation requirements for this task.• Provide reporting and evaluation feedback for continuous improvement purposes.

Responsible for the evaluation, design and implementation of solutions for a wide variety of projects for the safe and reliable operation of 10 oil/gas platforms, over 40 miles of subsea pipelines and 3 onshore facilities in Cook Inlet, Alaska. Accountable for budgeting, coordination, planning and implementation of platform legs and platform sub sea structural inspections, sub sea and near shore external and internal pipeline and riser inspections, maintenance and repair work.Responsible for compliance of all applicable laws, DOT and State of Alaska regulations, Integrity Management programs and permitting requirements. Coordination with various teams and stakeholders to prioritize, plan and execute projects. Contract management for high risk operations including rope access and diving operations, platform leg inspection and repairs, pipeline in-line inspections and pipeline abandonment projects.Accountable for the development of diving standards for Cook Inlet, Alaska Diving Operations. Responsible for the Management of Change Process, Facility Engineering Data Management, Computer-aided Design and Drafting, Projects Scheduling, Projects Cost Specialist, Facility Engineering, Project Management, Project Engineering.
