I’m an experienced FAA certified dispatcher with a degree in aviation management and experience in logistics & operation management who has built a successful career from a regional airline to one of the largest airlines in the world. I plan flight schedules and follow active flights, ensuring safety of all passengers and crew and maximizing profitability per flight.Throughout my career, I have planned and serviced over 120K domestic and international flights, from choosing the best route based on turbulence and weather conditions to calculating and optimizing fuel load levels to ensure cost-optimization. Additionally, I am the key person in planning and executing emergency responses, including negotiating with remote maintenance crews, managing airport operations, and mitigating customer experience and loss of revenue risks.I handle crisis situations on a daily basis requiring me to think “outside the box” and make quick decisions based on my knowledge and understanding of the case while minimizing the effect of these situations on the airline operations in general. In one case, I collaborated with members of diverse teams to enable the safe landing of a plane that lost one engine on a Transpacific flight.I have multifaceted and versatile knowledge of aviation, and I am lucky to work in an industry that I'm passionate about. My goal is to stay in the industry, developing my knowledge and skillset as I have been doing for the past 11 years.I like to work hard and play hard so outside of work I love to mountain bike, run, camp ski and really anything outside especially with my wife and 2 adventurous kids.
