I am currently seeking retail leads for Simbrix Ltd, an emerging toy designer of an innovative arts and craft interlocking bead system. The toy, aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 12 of all genders offers benefits such as refining motor skills, problem-solving, creativity and a grasp of physics. My role at McDonald's consisted of interacting with customers, taking orders, dealing with cash transactions and up selling. The role allowed me to gain vital experience in communicating with customers in a professional manner and defusing situations that were at times heated when customers had complaints. In addition to my own role, my time at McDonald's gave me insight into how Lean management processes can increase firm efficiency, increase quality of service and lead to an overall increase in sales and profitability.
