Pete is an experienced operator and serial entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience in the remedial services and hospitality industries.In 1990, he founded his first venture, Sunshine Carpet Cleaning, with a single carpet-cleaning machine. Over the next three decades, he expanded the company's offerings to include mold remediation, water damage, and fire damage solutions, re-branded the company to Sunshine Cleaning and Restoration, and grew the operation to service five states. Sunshine is now recognized by enterprise and consumer clients alike as the premier curative and remedial option servicing the Mid-Atlantic region.But always dissatisfied with the reactive nature of the remedial services industry, Pete turned his focus to preventative solutions. In 2018, he joined the OnGuard Systems co-founding team as the Vice President of Construction Relations with a singular mission of launching proactive solutions to moisture-related issues. In 2020 Pete has closed the loop by adding Enviroguard Mid -Atlantic LLC., to help bridge the gap between manufacturing and serveice providers. In addition to his roles at OnGuard Systems and Sunshine Cleaning and Restoration, Pete is an active angel investor with investments in early-stage tech and hospitality ventures.
