Responsible for the evaporation processes, whey dryer, outbound liquids department, and new employment through local staffing agencies. Ensuring all programs are adhered to including HACCP, GMPs, and safety programs. Schedule and work with regulatory agencies to ensure the evaporator pasteurizer is in compliance. Monitor legal pasteurizer documentation. Continue to develop new operators by working with department trainers. Monitor and trend downtime to focus on continuous process improvement. Schedule and work with outside contractors to improve/repair processes. Work with sales, other MSC managers, plant manager, and sister plants to ensure proper plant balancing.

Role initially was focused on starting up the new permeate dryer. Responsibilities included: identifying issues with the new system, developing/optimizing CIP processes, training operators in all new processes, working with contractors to ensure projects were completed on time, working with operators to ensure proper coverage of the dryer during off contractor times, report all project developments to upper management.Once the dryer project was complete the role transitioned into a process improvement role. During this time the following projects were completed: optimization of CIP washes, automation of citric acid addition to minimize acid usage and control final pH of liquid, track HSW hauling to ensure accurate billing and trend high usage times, reduction of city waste water bill through CIP optimization and implementation of technology to monitor the plants waste discharge to the city, optimization of major downtime washes by properly balancing contractor projects, wash times, and operator schedules.
