Support for the 200+ user Business Unit General Ledger Environment (BUGLE), a client server application. Selected by management to work with the BUGLE developers as a member of the Quality Improvement Team to tune the application. Success was achieved by reducing query times from hours to minutes, saving the reputation of the new general ledger system. Solved software and hardware problems on a Microsoft LAN-Manager network. -
Programmer AnalystBmg 1991 - 1993Responsible for supporting the corporation’s multi-dimensional worldwide financial System W models and One-Up applications. Supported and trained over 40 worldwide offices. Developed and supported numerous System W applications, including interfaces to other mainframe systems and PC packages. Artist Back Royalty system developed for the RCA label provided a quick and error free way of reversing royalty accounting errors. The previous system was complicated and, in its complexity, produced many errors. The new system provided a simple way to reverse these errors reducing the work time from days to hours. Success confirmed by repeat requests from the Arista and Classics labels for similar systems.
