Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle including requirement analysis, overall architecture, detailed design, application programming, hardware rollout and installation of several document management and document imaging solutions. These solutions were based on PC-DOCS, VBA and Internet technologies. Built an intranet system to track syndicated loans for a high-profile banking client. Wrote this system in Netscape Livewire and ported it to Microsoft Active Server Pages. Built a component based, flexible and configurable document capture system for scanning, bar-coding, document indexing and publishing. This product, called JEMCapture, was used in almost every imaging solution our company deployed. Modified and maintained internal and external C++ MFC applications. Shared in support of internal Windows NT network and MS SQL Server RDBMS. As a consultant I was continually interacting with clients, collecting requirements, architecting solutions, building and then implementing solutions

Developed applications for various internal needs, including a vendor expense tracking system. Enhanced a budgeting system for tracking intra-company spending. Success and user acceptance confirmed by recouping millions of dollars in billing errors from other business units. Support for the 200+ user Business Unit General Ledger Environment (BUGLE), a client server application. Selected by management to work with the BUGLE developers as a member of the Quality Improvement Team to tune the application. Success was achieved by reducing query times from hours to minutes, saving the reputation of the new general ledger system. Solved software and hardware problems on a Microsoft LAN-Manager network.

Responsible for supporting the corporation’s multi-dimensional worldwide financial System W models and One-Up applications. Supported and trained over 40 worldwide offices. Developed and supported numerous System W applications, including interfaces to other mainframe systems and PC packages. Artist Back Royalty system developed for the RCA label provided a quick and error free way of reversing royalty accounting errors. The previous system was complicated and, in its complexity, produced many errors. The new system provided a simple way to reverse these errors reducing the work time from days to hours. Success confirmed by repeat requests from the Arista and Classics labels for similar systems.
