I have worked for Zip Films to produce more than 20 commercials. During my time with Zip Films, I have worked as a Production Assistant, Payroll Manager, and Production Manager, each job giving me more experience and skills. Our clients have included Sanctuary and Community (both LA based firms) and EngineSLC (a Salt Lake based creative studio). I work closely with our producers to ensure timely delivery of projects as well as payments to our cast and crew.

My first film job was working for BBC America/Netflix to produce the three-part documentary “Murder Among the Mormons”. During this time I first learned how to work with the payroll service Greenslate. I also picked up multiple skills like Craft Service management, client and actor transportation, and general film assistance. Covid-19 also locked down LA during this time and our production was one of the only working studios in the country at the time. We had to become trailblazers in the field of Covid Management and invented multiple systems to allow us to continue to film. I worked closely with our Covid Compliance Officer (one of the first people in the country to hold that title) to come up with new solutions to keep our crew and cast safe. Due to our innovations, not one person on our team got Covid through the entirety of the shoot. I also worked closely with the co-directors of the film and personally helped them manage the layout of the episodes.
