About Pete Schwaba
For the last several years I have been a TV Host and writer of Director's Cut on PBS Wisconsin for which my duties involve writing scripts and hosting the show where I interview filmmakers. I write a weekly blog for each episode for the PBS WI website. I also write introductions for POV and Independent Lens documentaries and introduce them on camera. I am also a writer / director for TV and film. My credits include "A Guy Thing" (MGM) & "The Godfather of Green Bay" (Image), "Sports Soup" (Comcast) and "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" (FOX). I have several other projects in various stages of development. As an actor I have appeared in films and TV shows like, Relative Strangers, The Godfather of Green Bay, Aquarians, Speaking in Tongues & I was a regular performer on the sports comedy show, Sports Soup. When it comes to performing, I also enjoy doing voice work for websites and TV. I enjoy working in any creative capacity and do a considerable amount of free-lance writing for various networks and media outlets and still love doing stand-up comedy when the opportunity presents itself.
