The Sr. Environmental Scientist role is to provide expertise and leadership to the Gulf Coast BU assets primarily focusing on E&P water and waste lifecycles (use, reuse and recycling, and disposal), risk management and strategy development regarding environmental footprint. Co-Chair of the South Texas Energy & Economic Roundtable Water Sustainability Committee.

The Environmental Technologies Team Lead is a working supervisor of a group that both provides technical service to operating groups and develops and manages new technologies focused on land use, ecosystems and environmental management. A key leadership aspect is to configure group activities to meet current and future technology needs of operating business units for ecosystems analysis, land use management and environmental impact study tools, consistent with corporate policies and positions. The Team Leader also plays a leadership role in the Ecosystems and Biodiversity Network of Excellence, which focuses on enhancing and sharing knowledge about ecosystems protection and management.

Roles and responsibilities primarily focused on advising and counseling ConocoPhillips environmental risk managers (internal and external), on geologic, hydrogeologic, fate and transport processes; investigation and remediation tools, and applicable remedial technologies. Liaison for ConocoPhillips on the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Soil and Groundwater Technical Task Force and Petroleum Environmental Research Forum. Additional responsibilities cover the dissemination and discussion of technical (and non technical) technology transfers and administrator the ConocoPhillips Risk Management & Remediation analytical lab service program

Responsible for managing a portfolio of discontinued asset (liabilities) sites, including but not limited to: superfund (CERCLA), refineries (RCRA), tank farms (Upstream), pipeline (Transportation), chemical plants (Downstream), and marketing retail (UST). Responsibilities include the strategic initiatives of liability mitigation for the operational units, and regulatory and public liaison. Area of technical expertise is in the investigation and remediation, fate and transport, of process derived compounds both in groundwater and soil mediums.Singer, song writer, and co-founder of the group "No Dry White Toast".

Seconded to El Paso Energy's Southern Natural Gas (SNG) acquisition assessment team. Managing mercury impacts and risks associated with SNG pipeline. Municipal Soilid Waste Landfill expansion construction project manager.

Senior HydrogeologistMember of BFI Ground Water Services.Responsible for evaluating analytical information to assess potential risks associated with groundwater geochemical flux / changes. Investigations focused on determining causes, and remedial actions to mitigate changes.

As a Staff Hydrogeologist I performed hydrogeologic investigations, soil and groundwater impact assessments. Supervised the installation of groundwater monitor wells and soil borings utilizing rotary and direct push technologies. I provided technical advice on soil and groundwater geochemical processes that effected remedial strategies and engineering designs. Zero recordable incidents during my tenure.
