City of Melville has taken the bold step to employ a Creative Producer and expand their arts program over coming years. Melville is uniquely placed to become an ambitious arts hub and has a dynamic and flexible team that is well suited to collaborative presentations. The position is responsible for Goolugatup Heathcote, Visual Arts Programming and Exhibitions, Ephemeral and Permanent Public Art including the % for Art Program, Museums including Wireless Hill, Community Arts Programming, Young People's and Adults Programing, Major Events and Music Programming.

In October 2018 Perth Festival engaged me in the capacity of consultant to look specifically at how the festival could involve more metropolitan council areas in it's presentations, with the key objective of better engaging with the wider metropolitan community. Between December and February I met with key staff from 27 metropolitan and regional local governments and entertainment centres. The results of the consultancy were presented to state government in April 2019.At the conclusion of this project I came on to the festival team as the full time Producer for Highway to Hell, the festival's major closing event which was a collaboration across the festival, state government, three local governments, various key stakeholder agencies and private corporations.

As Manager of Arts and Culture at the City of Fremantle I was responsible for: - All city produced festivals including the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival, The Fremantle Festival and the Hidden Treasures contemporary music festival. - The city's Public Art Program and premiere arts facility, Fremantle Arts Centre- Managing relationships with key arts organisations such as The Fremantle Biennale and national festival producers such as Falls Festival- All city produced corporate events and arts funding grantsDuring my tenure I worked with City Councillors, senior management, arts and culture staff and key external stakeholders to review and re-position the city's suite of festivals, and to develop a vision for arts in Fremantle based on high quality programming that seeks to inspire and genuinely link with community and the arts sector at a local, national and international level.

During my tenure as GM I lead a team to deliver all programs and facilities at FAC across a 7 day week.Key responsibilities included:- Managing and supervising budget planning and delivery across all program areas- Specialist production and risk management - High level liaison with national promoters and programmers to deliver contracted events - Responsibility for all music programming - Managing all HR requirements for FAC staff- Contributing to overall artistic direction and key external government and private relationships, in consultation with FAC Director.
