About Pete Train

From 1990 - 2000 : experience in health and fitness industry becoming ‘employee health and wellness manager’ at BSkyB Ltd. Set up adventure club Out of London Adventure (OOLA), a charity events group, whilst also a corporate life coach and fitness trainer for professional sports teams. From 2001 - 2005 worked for Resort Municipality of Whistler as Recreation Programmer and North Vancouver Recreation Commission as Fitness Programmer. Teaching Physical Health Education in SD48 since 2005 - at Whistler Secondary since 2006. Did an applied MEd in Teaching Games for Understanding 2009-2011 and a PhD in curriculum studies 2012-2018: I am a specialist in developing contemporary practices that focus on experiencing and promoting the pleasure of movement in secondary school physical education.Recently started developing and teaching a Philosophy course for senior high school students.
