I held the P&L accountability for Virgin Australia's Sponsorship platform before and after the transition of Virgin Blue to Virgin Australia. This included the acquisition of long term strategic assets for brand and commercial benefit that when combined delivered an industry leading commercial return of over 20:1.Platforms included the acquisition of the AFL sponsorship from long term sponsor and rival, QANTAS. This 'impossible to acquire' asset delivered an exception revenue stream and access to the most popular sport in Australia. To support this marquee asset, I led the negotiation to acquire additional team assets such as the Gold Coast Suns (Foundation Partnership), the Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles . I was also the accountable manager for assets such as the Australian Open, V8 Supercars, QLD Red's, Netball Australia, Baseball Australia, Ripcurl Pro, the National Basketball League and multiple fashion weeks including acquiring the naming rights to 'Virgin Australia Fashion Week' from L'oreal in 2014. Within this role, I also pitched and managed the record breaking 'Mile High Karaoke flight' in partnership with The Black Eyed Peas, successfully acquiring the 'The Highest Concert Ever Performed' Guinness World Record.
