I have been a decorator all my life and I have spent over 20 years teaching decorating apprentices at a local college. I am now the director of a training academy for decorators. Our aim is to raise the game for decorators so that they are more successful and earn more money.I know what it is like to have your own decorating business and the challenges that you face, I have been self-employed twice in my life. I would like to help you: • become more productive so that you are not rushing about all the time. • get better at pricing.• put systems in place so that we are not making it up as we go along. The training academy is mainly business to business. We train self-employed decorators, but we also run bespoke courses for larger decorating companies. I personally will carry out consultancy work with decorating companies to help them integrate spraying into their business when I have availability.I am very fortunate that I served my time at a proper decorating company and gained the full range of skills needed to be a good decorator. I also won the National of the “Skillbuild” competition back in 1986, an achievement I am proud of. As a training academy we have three things that make us unique.• We are actually decorators who are actually doing the job.• We are independent so that we can give advice on a range of products and equipment.• We offer ongoing support after the course for as long as you need it.You can contact me on fastandflawless@outlook.com or message me on here.We specialise in:Training for decoratorsProductive paintingAirless sprayingHVLP sprayingPainting systemsMarketing EstimatingPricing
