BP Atlantis is a 200BBLSD 180MMCF of gas floating production platform located 150 miles South of New Orkeans La. My position was that of a Subsea operator for a short time. I then transferred to top sides operations and became a CRO-Control Room Operator or Console Operator. Function test systems and prepare platform for first oil. Operated the production platform with an Honeywell DCS Experion system. Preformed check out and loop test of systems. Ensure all are functioning properly, work closely with the production team lead to find ways to be more efficient. Trained outside operators to use the DCS. Dispatched first responders and fire team.Facilitated morning safety meetings Foster team work.
