A Climate Change Peer Challenge in Cumbria, identifying carbon reduction targets for the partnership. Delivered an improvement plan for reducing worklessness in Hull following their receipt of a red flag from the Audit Commission. I have also undertaken 3 diversity challenges and a London Efficiency Challenge in Tower Hamlets leading to the production of an efficiency plan for the council.I used the secondment to combine my extensive senior management experience with current thinking and national best practice in a wide variety of settings. This has ensured that I have identified clear recommendations for improvement and efficiencies with the councils where I have undertaken reviews. Show less
