Born and raised in a small West Texas (I am a US Citizen and do Not require sponsorship). I began my career in Lubbock, TX but I have worked in Raleigh, NC, Salt Lake City, Utah, the DFW Metro and currently find myself working remotely from where I please. I attained a Master of Science, Data Science graduate degree from the Rawl's College of Business at Texas Tech University in 2018. Previously, I attained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance & Economics undergraduate degree also from the Rawl's College of Business at Texas Tech University. Post undergraduate, I worked in the financial industry with large-cap, regional state banks for a number of years mostly in the West Texas region. I ended my career in the financial industry in the loan operations admin side, but I am familiar with employee management as well as the retail side of banking.For a number of years, I held a 1/3 ownership percentage of an LLC partnership focused on the local real estate market. We bought, remodeled and rented out investment properties. Eventually we flipped them all for profit and dissolved the partnership.Post graduate degree through present day, I have been working in information technology, mostly in the data space. My experience in this field has ranged from application and development maintenance on legacy systems, to data analytics and reporting utilizing tools like Tableau and Looker, to my current role as a Sr. Data Engineer and Data Analyst with Wolf and Company, P.C. Currently, my daily duties involve client engagement and requirement gathering, data understanding and cleaning, and data engineering and data analytics. Primarily, I use InsightOut to generate visualizations and dashboards to help generate business insights for our clients and build pipelines with Airbyte, DBT, and AWS. I also assist with Scrum duties by performing due diligence behind incoming requests regarding architecture, granularity, level of effort, and splitting larger problems into more manageable tasks using Jira and Slack for more efficient feedback and delivery.
