I was an Executive Committee Member of the Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce (www.businessinbrighton.org.uk) since 2001 and was elected Vice President in April 2009. In my time in these roles, I've helped with the Chamber's: strategy; events; behind the scenes admin; and Chaired the Local Issues working group.

I enjoyed volunteering at this excellent Sure Start family centre in Shoreham by Sea. In my time volunteering here I helped out with the weekly Rhyme Time sessions, and also the occasional Dad's Day events. All aimed at helping parents learn to play and interact with their children. The staff at this centre are really lovely and this is a really excellent resource for the local community.
