I am a founder and director of VOX Coaching, a successful communication-skills development company operating across the UK and mainland Europe. I'm passionate about training people to strengthen their vocal and physical presence, become more confident and increase their personal impact. I help individuals and teams achieve the highest standards of face-to-face communication, with all the benefits this can bring them and their organisations. Clients include Hewlett Packard, the Office of Fair Trading, Aardman Animations, the Department for Transport and over 20 UK universities, including Bristol, Imperial College London, Leeds, Manchester and UCL. I also teach regularly at leading international business schools such as the IMD in Lausanne, Bocconi in Milan and ESMT in Berlin.I graduated in English from the University of Oxford before training as a mime artist in Poland and Sweden. I then spent 15 years as a professional actor and movement director working in television, theatre and opera.Formerly a lecturer in drama at the University of Bristol, I've also trained actors in physical and vocal presence at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Drama Studio London and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.Acting credits include Titus Groan in the David Glass Ensemble production of Gormenghast and Mercutio in the Oxford Stage Company’s Romeo and Juliet.
