Primary responsibility is technical control of the voice and digital networks within the division and coordinates directly with the brigade S6 and NETOPs for management. The section also coordinates and manages internal division CP voice, data, and audio/visual (A/V) communications that allow the division to effectively command and control all divisional units, synchronize operations, and defeat the enemy. Additionally, the G6 coordinates the division's communication effort in a joint environment to support the division commander, his staff and subordinate/separate brigades/battalions in order to ensure effective battle command.1 November 2012 start date.

Responsible for BN which instructs 88M MOS to Guard and Reserve soldiers throughout the country. Conducts 4 courses a year (phases I & II -- 28 day course). BN has been selected to begin teaching ALC for FY 13/14.31 OCT 2012 is my end date for command.

Operations officer for Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group. Deployed w/in CENTCOM in which unit provided depot level maintenance for CABs in the CENTCOM AOR. Locations included: Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Serves at the CA National Guard and State of CA Military Dept representative for emergency communications. Manages emergency communications vehicles to support state and federal emergencies. Coordinates with multiple state and federal entities regarding communications issues and exercises throughout the state. Submits annual budget requests and DHS Grant requests for additional funding for program.

Responsible for communications footprint for CA National Guard covering 120 Armories and 3 training site. Part of VoIP implementation for CA. Also served as manager of mulit-million dollar budget and the single federal representative for the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, VA.

Responsible for keeping network compliant with DoD network security. Served as primary point of contact for classified communications after 9/11.

Worked in all areas of communications support to CA National Guard Headquarters, armories, and trainining sites. This involved billing, distribution of communications assets and served as one of primary contacts during state emergencies for asset acquiring and distribution.

Civil Affairs Officer deployed to Kosovo; Oct 04- Feb 06.Served as Civil Affairs Officer for 1st BN, 160th IN, 40 Infantry Division (Mechanized) and part of Task Force Falcon, Multinational Brigade (East).Was responsible for Civil Affairs in (3) towns in Area of Responsibility: Gnjilan, Novo Brodo, and Kamanicia. Was Officer in Charge of new Liaison and Monitoring Teams (LMT) during this deployment. Worked with local Serbs, Albanian, and Turkish leaders in area to include multination groups such as, NATO, OSCE, UNHCR, and EU.
