Develop & implement research techniques to resolve complex resource management & conservation problems. Review draft legislation & regulations, offering suggestions for clarity & efficacy, & inform the State Oil & Gas Supervisor on potential changes.Collaborate with the State Oil & Gas Supervisor Deputies in formulating regulatory plans, policies, standards, & controls. Provide consultative services & technical expertise to upper management on various operations, projects, & proposals. Issue administrative orders, requests for bids, & contracts for plugging & abandoning deserted wells & related facilities.Plan, organize, direct, & evaluate the work & performance of District management, engineering, & office services personnel.
