Working on something special.Pete was the founding partner of Point72 Ventures, and led its early stage fintech venture strategy for the past 7 years.Previously, Pete was an Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase Strategic Investments, focused on sourcing and executing venture-stage private investments in emerging businesses whose offerings were strategic to the JPMC franchise, its clients, and the financial services industry. A graduate of Indiana University where he majored in Finance, Pete started his career at JPMorgan Investment Banking in the Financial Institutions Group, later founding Bacchus Capital which made principal investments in concert finance and production, before returning to JPMorgan to the Asset Management Strategy Group to execute buyside acquisitions. His venture capital career started at FTV Capital, a $1bn growth stage venture fund focused on financial services, business services and software investing. Pete also served as Director of Principal Investments for Credit Suisse where he focused on venture-stage direct investments in financial services, market structure and software.
