CurrentKey member of the senior management team responsible for directing the planning and design of many projects in the company’s portfolio, with emphasis on ensuring that designs are industry-leading, environmentally-responsible and cost-effective. Maintain close interaction with clients to deliver successful products and services that exceed their expectations. Manage and mentor a team of architects and project assistants. Hold budget accountability for projects and highly involved in corporate strategy and guidance. ✓ Maximize efficiency of the site that leads to increased site coverage. This augments the efficiency of the floor plates which equates to a lower loss factor of the building. ✓ Review and approve architecture designs and offer alternative solutions.✓ Assist Division President in operational activities of the business unit from strategic planning and budgeting to personnel issues.✓ Review architectural contracts and construction documents for completeness and code compliance.✓ Authorize and execute consultant contracts necessary for the performance of the duties defined in architectural agreements.✓ Assisted in developing and presenting training seminars for Division employees.✓ Conduct meetings and presentations with Clients, Governmental Agencies and personnel from other Corporate Divisions.✓ Represented the corporation as a Trustee at Chamber events in the community.✓ Held other positions within the organization including Draftsman, Project Management, and Project Architect.
