ATSIP exists to further the development and sharing of traffic records system procedures, tools, and professionalism. Each year ATSIP produces the Traffic Records Forum to further that goal.

After attending, exhibiting and sponsoring the Traffic Records Forum for over 30 years, in 2022 I got to Chair the conference. The prior 2 years we've held this event virtually - very exciting to see everyone in person this time.Historically the Traffic Records Forum has been attended primarily by representatives of State and Federal agencies. Created the Crash Magic and Intersection Magic software (Industry de-facto standard) product lines • Crash Magic is an analysis tool used to analyze data about traffic accidents and provide the information needed by state and municipal engineers and planners to reduce injuries and fatalities on their roadways. • Managed team of 2-5 engineers both onsite and offshore to complete critical project stages. Participated in online design sessions to create specifications for offsite engineers. • Identified the software/market need; interviewed stakeholders; architected the software. • Managed the evolution of the product line from MS DOS through Windows to its current cloud hosted solution. Currently converting existing customers from on-site licenses to annual subscriptions with data and applications hosted on Pd’ Programming servers. (www.GovernmentTools.com) • Responsible for all marketing materials, web, email and print advertising. • Organizer of annual user training conferences for clients; Organized and participated in industry conferences and trade shows. • Successfully prepared and bid on complex municipal and state level government RFPs. • Designed a database abstraction layer to support major SQL database servers such as Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL and DB2. • Built an expression parser that normalizes data access across many disparate data sets to provide users with comprehensive analysis without investing in data massage and manipulation. • Grew client base from just a few front-rangecities in 1987. Currently serving hundreds of cities and states in the US and Canada including the transportation departments of New York State, Connecticut, North and South Dakota, Oregon, Wyoming, Iowa, Louisiana, Georgia and Ontario. Also installed in local agencies such as Tampa, St. Paul, Denver, Fort Collins and Tempe.

Consulted for several local companies, as well as the National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA)Completed a phase II Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grant for NASA • Successfully completed a language port of the Man Systems Integration Standards (MSIS) manuals used by NASA and its contractors.Contracted for and completed a health care outcome analysis and prediction tool • Worked with a local company to create a new software tool for measuring outcomes in cancer patients being treated at several local and national facilities including the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.Implemented a complete CRM and support center serving hundreds of end-user clients • Provided enterprise-level support services from a small group using remote access software and built-in diagnostic tools. • Created a support knowledgebase to reduce call volume. • Implemented software versioning system providing alpha, Beta and production download to clients.

Assembled all past student contributions into single body of code; Authored Computer Aided Design Engine. (CAD) Integration of all software developed in the lab. Managed hardware and software purchases and installations for the College of Architecture. Assisted professors with hardware and software purchase decisions. Provided computer support to students.

Interviewer for one-year transportation mode-use survey. Involved telephone and in-person interviews with Boulder residents.

Responsible for managing the bikeways program budget. Also responsible for providing bicycle education; assisting with bike week; arranging sponsorships; proposing bike programs.
