At Zilliant, I led the Product Management, Partner, Data Science UX and Documentation teams for a suite of leading Pricing and Revenue Optimization products. Worked closely with our Manufacturing, Distribution and Services customers to build Products and AI capabilities that delivered billions of dollars in revenue and profit improvement. With Zilliant from early stages with first customer in 2001 through an acquisition by Madison Dearborn Partners in 2021. Zilliant was founded on the belief that data could be applied to the sales process in innovative ways to improve business outcomes. Through my 22 year tenure at Zilliant, I was fortunate to work with brilliant and innovative people to build capabilities that routinely revenue improvements of 5-15% and profit improvements of 2-5%.

Yclip was an innovator in online coupons. We worked closely with credit card issuers and merchant payment systems to provide customer incentives when using qualifying credit cards. During my tenure with Yclip, we refined strategy to work directly with credit card issuing banks to offer incentives in a trusted environment for customers. Yclip was acquired by First Data Corporation.

Knowledge Discovery One (KD1) was an innovator in the use of data & data science for Retail. We focused on help our clients harness transaction data to make better decisions about pricing, promotion, inventory and assortment. KD1 used market basket analysis to better understand customer behavior and to help Retailers and CPG companies collaborate in a data driven way with an understanding of how key brands could help increase overall transaction values. KD1 was acquired by Net Perceptions, who was also an innovator in the collaborative filtering and market basket analysis space.

Early stage company with founders from Teradata focused on building business user front-ends to huge Teradata databases. As part of a small software engineering team, I was responsible both for product development and customer implementations. Worked closely with Microstrategy to integrate our front end with their advanced SQL generation technology.

Co-oped with P&G for several semesters while studying Quantitative Analysis and Information Systems at the University of Cincinnati. Great experience which included supporting scientists at the Miami Valley Lab and also side projects like building a phone number search utility for Macs.
