I'm serving as a Product Owner on a Digital Evidence Management System. The system is designed to be seamlessly integrated with Getac Bodycams and InCar camera systems. Captured footage is automatically transferred to the cloud, where it is securely and redundantly stored in preparation for use in investigations and court cases.My product area focus is specifically hardware integrations and ALPR. I interface with our hardware/firmware team in Taiwan and software resources in Pakistan, providing a communication bridge as needed and documenting software requirements. I also meet with public safety industry stakeholders to directly gather feedback.

I served as Product Lead for a development team implementing an application designed to reduce friction and increase transparency in 1035 contract exchanges between organizations. My role was focused on translating stakeholder needs into software requirements, then overseeing the implementation and validation of those requirements. I also supported sales, marketing and RFP processes. Evadata was a small org when I started, so I wore whatever hat they needed me to as I got up to speed on the Life Insurance and Annuities domain knowledge.

After 6 years of working at Dell, I was selected to transition to a new team focused on delivering new features and product integrations for CloudIQ, a cloud-based monitoring and analytics portal for Dell data center hardware. Starting with a small team of only 5 engineers (which gradually grew to 20), I initially executed feature testing and presented our team's work in live monthly demonstrations to hundreds of support personnel and stakeholders.Based on my knowledge of the project and leadership status on the team, project leaders requested that I transition into the technical product owner role. Interfacing with project stakeholders, I transformed high-level requests into detailed documentation of features in Jira and led meetings to review and refine them. Meeting daily with development resources (mostly working from a Dell EMC office in India), I served as the contact point for questions and concerns. I tracked and reported status of each feature in daily standup meetings, and validated that all requirements were met before features were committed and pushed to production. I was the guy on the team who says "I'll take care of that." and "Did we remember to do this?" in meetings, taking detailed notes to make sure no tasks fall through the cracks.

In my first 6 years at Dell, I worked on the Software Quality team for Dell Storage Manager, a complex storage hardware management software product with nearly 20,000 active installations. Serving as a feature lead, I created test plans, executed test cycles and triaged hundreds of defects. In addition to my testing work, I served as the primary resource in charge of installing and configuring test servers and storage hardware in our lab. This gave me the opportunity to gain knowledge of server hardware management and storage networking on a production lab scale. Entering the company as a base level test engineer, I consistently received positive reviews and was promoted at each scheduled opportunity, first to staff, then senior, and finally principal engineer.
