I’m passionate about new medicines for global health and realising the potential of cutting edge science & innovation to tackle infectious disease.Interests include:A) investing in innovation and the development and use of new, accessible, low-cost antibody products to tackle infectious disease in LMICs.B) embedding access early in product development and incentivising partners to take on ambitious access strategies. C) unlocking investment & scientific bottlenecks for Neglected Tropical Diseases I'm an Immunologist by doctoral training and translational scientist with broad experience of academic research, university teaching, biotech/pharma collaborations and science funding/strategy through to impact. - My research background is in studying antibodies to Malaria, neuro-inflammation and cell & gene therapies.I have leadership experience building strategic high impact biologics, vaccine and drug development portfolios from discovery through pre-clinical, IND-enabling and clinical stage up to Phase II; together with post authorisation clinical studies generating evidence to inform implementation policy.
