I was the founder of this company, which subsequently became Critical Systems in 2008. Users First was focused for three years on user experience product development and Internet software start-up consulting. I successfully launched three start-ups, aircraftlogs.com, movepoint.com, and patientsafetyinc.com. I was a Battelle Software Java Technical Architect on Independent Validation Verifcation team for Unemployment Compensation large J2EE project for the state of Ohio. Experiences included Javascript, Java and .NET software development and architecture, database architecture and taking companies from an idea to reality.Users First also provided a Software User Research solution for gathering information about users for innovating on products and concepts. It allows for the capturing of user experience, and the ability to communicate that experience efficiently and effectively to all involved with the new product. The solution was built in Objective-C for Mac OS X and utilized the Quicktime C API.

I guess officially as of October 2002, I was not with fourthchannel any more; but I was still working with the fourthchannel products and customers so why not. Boy that organizational size question is a tough one, should I put 120 or four, both are true. 120 at the peak, and four when it was sold to SPS Commerce.Great Engineering team, great experience with coding, and tremendous experience with running a business, after the bubble burst for fourthchannel -- October 2001 -- and SPS acquired fourthchannel in October 2002

Costello and Associates (acquired by CBSI) after graduating from Ohio State, was placed at American Electric Power to help them with implementation and support of packaged software solutions. I quickly found myself replacing many solutions AEP had already purchased, and pushing for effective use of Internet/Intranet technologies throughout AEP.Was also active in leading the Internet strategies within c.w. Costello and educating others in the organization on Internet technologies, before and after we were purchased by CBSI (Complete Business Solutions, Inc.). Left CBSI before the Covansys acquisition.
