I have been in IT since before it was called IT - starting as a Mainframe Operator, then Programmer Analyst in thirteen languages, back before PC's had hard drives. My thirty-plus years took me through to designing national corporate networks as a Senior Network Architect. This has included responsibility for all information technology services; Internet security, PCI compliance, LAN/WAN, client server architecture, new product evaluation and deployment, project management, phone circuits (POTS, PRI, ISDN), network circuits (100Mbps MetroEthernet, T-1, MPLS, wISP, broadband), nightly backups in a dozen cities, cloud support, etc.I managed a 2.3M annual budget for telecomm, designed, implemented and supported IT projects that included archiving our Exchange mailboxes and refreshing our Windows server hardware and software. I've rolled out Exchange with two databases in a replication group (DAG), rolled out NEC's VoIP solution over bonded MPLS T-1's, managed the deployment of 10 and 100Mbps Metro Ethernet circuits, configured 4G fail-over Internet circuits at each site, and dozens of other projects over the past few years.Specialties: My primary specialty is network design and network services integration.
