I am currently a Professor and Department Chair of the Information Systems Department at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. In addition, I am the Program Director for the Information Technology Management Graduate program offered at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. My contributions are evidenced by the following accomplishments and are discussed in further detail throughout my profile. • Leadership in Department Service – As department chair, the department has revised curriculum, learning objectives, assessment processes, grown enrollments over 100 % and improved community engagement efforts with recruiters. • Director of the Health Information Management and Technology (HIMT) Program – Under my leadership, UWL was able to become a HIMT degree granting institution and articulation agreements were in place with local technical colleges to drive enrollment.• Established University Membership in the SAP Alliance – I led efforts to join the SAP University Alliance. SAP is the leading enterprise business software in the world. Our membership has brought SAP software into the classroom for the first time on campus.• Leadership in Assessment – As the CBA Assessment of Learning Chair and IS Department Assessment Coordinator, I helped successfully steer our college’s AACSB reaccreditation efforts. I have willingly attended a variety of AACSB workshops and conferences.• Leadership in Curriculum Innovation – Change in curriculum needs to be embraced and not feared. I have developed a variety of new courses in health information systems, data analytics and enterprise systems using SAP during my time as a faculty member. I was the first instructor on campus to teach SAP. • Demonstrated Excellence in Teaching – My assessment efforts, along with student and peer evaluations have ensured students are prepared to enter today’s changing technological world.• Leadership in University Service – Served as the chair of the Joint Planning and Budget Committee and Consultative Layoff Committee. • Mature and Ongoing Scholarship – My research accomplishments have included over 50 peer-reviewed journals and conference papers/presentations.
