Pete Herr is a published author, blogger, speaker, and award-winning teacher whose main priority has always been to teach his students the skills they need to succeed in college and career. He recently published his first book "10 Things We Should teach You In High School and Usually Don't", which is available on Amazon in paperback or on Kindle.Pete has been fortunate to spend his career teaching "hands-on" practical courses in Public Speaking, Leadership, Marketing, Personal Finance, and Journalism. He has also served on the school's Administrative Team, marketing committee, and served as the Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair for the last 15 years. Outside of school, Pete has worked extensively planning and executing large scale special events including TEDxBuffalo, TEDxBuffaloWomen, TEDxYouth@Buffalo, The Buffalo Soup-fest, and the Lancaster Village Special Events Series. He specializes in the production aspects and media relations.
