I oversaw West Coast Supply Chain in DDC's in Seattle, Tracy, CA and Chino, CA. Additional delivery locations in San Diego, San Leandro, Las Vegas, Hawaii and Arizona. My responsibility included all aspects of shipping and receiving as well as cross docks and the Regional Customer Care Call Center. My Distribution area included 11 states and delivery to 250 Best Buy retail stores including home delivery in 12 major metro-markets and container shipments to Hawaii. I merged 2 companies, Pacific Sales and Best Buy, in two separate locations onto one WMS (Red Prairie.) I was responsible for realigning the organization chart, store communication and training and development for more than 300 employees. I provided alignment both within stores and supply chain to ensure that customers received a seamless transition while merging business units and executed Best Buys largest single day delivery to date with over 200 delivery trucks moving out of 1 location.

I ran the Delivery Distribution Center in Streetsboro, OH and was in charge of the crossdocks/delivery pads in Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Detroit that were third party owned and operated. I worked on SOPs that would ultimately lay the foundation to Best Buy taking the operations back under their ownership including training and developing the leaders that would move into those roles. I provided responsibility for 400,000 sqft Distribution Facility servicing 97 Stores in 6 states. I represented Best Buy Supply Chain across multiple levels of retail and field services leadership in 5 metro delivery areas.

I was responsible for the daily operation of a Distribution Center supporting annualized sales up to $2.5 billion to Best Buy business units. The Distribution Center supported all of New England and parts of New York. As part of this role, I was responsible for the implementation of all company policies/procedures, employee safety, and customer-centric practices while ensuring company values and competencies were practiced throughout the facility at all levels. I drove change of the Best Buy Supply Chain network by putting in place daily planning tools and instilling best practice around team collaboration and interaction. I was a key part in leading change throughout the network on-boarding DC leaders and working in collaboration with Corporate partners to pilot initiatives and drive efficiency company-wide. My building held the highest NPS (customer satisfaction) in the company as I grew market share and enhanced the Best Buy initiative of Renew Blue (transformation to profitability.)Key Responsibilities:-Direct the activities of center operations, transportation, human capital and engineering disciplines ensuring accountability for readiness to support up to 100 BBY business units.-The hiring, development, and retention of staff to include the highest quality individuals to support continuous improvement, succession planning and future growth of the business. -Create and maintain an environment of continuous learning and development where team members have a low resistance to change ensuring continuous improvement.-Focused on the development of customer-centric goals with a strong emphasis on order accuracy and integrity. -Ensured personal and staff accessibility to resolve issues within the store regions serviced by the distribution center.-Responsibility for an operating budget up to $15 million to process cartons inbound/outbound to the business units.
