Pete is an entrepreneurial leader, innovator, and strategist who's spent most of his career in the enterprise B2B space. He has been driving growth and impact for Mural, a leading collaboration software company, since joining the company's early-pandemic Executive Leadership Team in March 2020. As Head of Services & Opportunity Development, he supports Mural's most strategic customers in transforming how they work, at scale. He previously built and led the Mural Playmakers program, a global community of the world's best facilitators who use Mural to run engaging and effective workshops, meetings, and events. He also led strategic partnerships globally and stood up relationships with a number of key partners who help Mural reach and serve imagination workers around the world.Before joining Mural, Pete co-founded and served as a C-level officer at LUMA Institute, a pioneer in design thinking-focused innovation programs and software. He co-authored Innovating for People, a widely acclaimed handbook of human-centered design methods, and co-created the LUMA System of Innovation, a framework for applying design thinking across organizations and challenges which was lauded by Harvard Business Review as a "taxonomy of innovation." He also led the company's B2C offerings.He also served as Managing Director, Social Impact, where he was responsible for setting LUMA’s social impact strategy and managing the company’s work in the social sector, helping the organization establish new relationships with several influential non-profits and three of the ten largest foundations in America.Though Pete stepped down from his day-to-day role with the company in February 2020, the company was acquired by MURAL in March 2022.
