Since helping to launch the company, Pete served continuously on the company’s senior executive leadership team and helped establish several new functions within the business.He spent nearly five years as the founding Chief Operating Officer, during which time the company experienced double-digit revenue growth and profitability every year. As COO, Pete carried responsibility for managing the company’s P&L and day-to-day operations and finance functions, and setting and achieving aggressive growth, profitability, and customer loyalty targets. He played a central role in launching new products and services, creating new business models, establishing the company’s global Public Workshops business, and helping to lead its strategic business development activities.As Chief Innovation Officer, Pete oversaw LUMA's Product and Business Growth organizations and was responsible for ensuring that the company created innovative products and services, and delivered B2B solutions that enabled clients worldwide to accelerate innovation and achieved measurable results. He established new partnerships and provided the vision for the company's first foray into remote collaboration, in partnership with MURAL.Pete also served as LUMA’s Chief Marketing Officer, where he played a pivotal role in building the brand and establishing the recurring revenue business model, pricing, and market positioning for LUMA Workplace, the world’s leading Software-as-a-Service for design thinkers. He also led the company's B2C offerings.He also served as Managing Director, Social Impact, where he was responsible for setting LUMA’s social impact strategy and managing the company’s work in the social sector, helping the organization establish new relationships with several influential non-profits and three of the ten largest foundations in America.Though Pete stepped down from his day-to-day role with the company in February 2020, the company was acquired by MURAL in March 2022.

MAYA Design, a leading design firm and innovation lab (since acquired by BCG), hired Pete to help build out and spin off a new venture, which ultimately became LUMA Institute.

Led The Councils business, a private peer-learning community for digital execs around the globe. The recurring revenue business helps hundreds of senior leaders help each other innovate and lead customer-centric change to drive business results. Members included C-Suite execs & EVP/SVP/VPs from companies including Apple, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Target, NY Times, Harley-Davidson, Intuit, Autodesk, and SAP, among others. The Councils are now run by Collaborative Gain.

Sold and led customer experience strategy engagements for clients including Capital One, Cisco, Citrix, Sun Microsystems, Yamaha Music, redbox, BlueCross BlueShield, The Tribune Company, Credit Suisse, Standard & Poor's, Hoovers, and Indigo Books & Music, among others.

As AVP of Customer Experience at Credit Suisse in London and Zurich, Pete co-founded the company’s acclaimed customer experience team, which has been featured in Fast Company and recognized by the Executive Board.

Held roles of Marketing Strategist and Customer Experience Manager at an innovative dot-com-bubble era financial services start-up. Part of core team responsible for successfully securing $10m in Series A funding, designing the business (brand, value proposition, omni-channel customer experience), and getting the company off the ground. Helped create what is believed to be the world's first service offering live, on-demand financial advice via online chat.

Worked within Accenture's (at the time, Andersen Consulting) Strategic Services practice.
