I develop the teams that develop products. Part psychology, part business, and part technology, my approach does not reduce people to numbers, but instead uses numbers to help grow people. As a director of both theatre and technology, I teach how to design processes for creativity, thereby fostering unexpected levels of innovation. KEY HIGHLIGHTS:» Manager for the redesign of TD Ameritrade’s online trading platform, managing the scope of deliverables with strong internal controls in place to steer four of the eight teams, consisting of 60 PMs, BAs, Developers and QA professionals.» Served as Team Lead and Systems Engineer for the $20M redesign of the System of Record for the Air Force Congressional Budgets and its Personnel Management system, with a team of 15 developers, requirements specialists, testers and client specialists.» Organized the inaugural Philadelphia Lean Startup Machine workshop and run the DC Lean Startup Academy, a global movement of entrepreneurs and innovators changing the way new products and businesses are built.» Architected and managed the development of the first online DC Metro Trip Planner, planning millions of trips every month across the DC bus and rail systems.» Co-designed the user interface for WebTycho, the world's first accredited online course delivery system, educating more than 95K students worldwide, including the nation's military forces.
